    • Sentence diagramming

    • Vocabulary practice

    • Poetry appreciation, memorization and recitation

    • Persuasive, informative and narrative essay writing

  • Detailed student performance reviews at the end of every unit. These reviews can be used for quarterly reports to be sent to the school district.

With Sprouting Seeds Language Arts your child will read works by Robert Louis Stevenson, Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Shakespeare, Edith Nesbit and more.

Students build paragraphs into essays while learning how to write persuasive, informative and narrative essays.

Students read and memorize poems by Christina Rossetti, Alfred Lord Tennyson, Thomas Hardy, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and more.

And real life lessons come to life when students discover the virtues of empathy, compassion and inner strength woven into the classic literature selections in each class.

“Since he began participating in this program, my son has greatly improved his reading comprehension. This has simultaneously improved his confidence, and he has gained deep appreciation for literature. We believe the lessons he has learned will have a lifelong positive influence.”

- Rebeca, mom of a seventh grade student

“Our son really enjoys his live zoom meetings… Having the live feedback and interaction is priceless. The reports she provides on what they are learning is so thorough and very helpful when it's time to send in updates to the school. This class is so much more fulfilling than books and paperwork alone. Well worth the investment!”

- Stefanie, mom of a sixth grade student
